CIGRE SOUTHEASTERN REGIONAL COUNCIL MEETING IN ROME

CIGRE Southeastern Europe Regional Council member countries came together in Rome for the 3rd SEERC Workshop. The workshop held during the Presidency of Turkey was attended by SEERC and CIGRE Turkey National Committee Chairman Dr. It started with the opening speech of İzzet Alagöz. The workshop continued for two days, where the participants in Turkey, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Georgia, Serbia, Kosovo, Austria and Ukraine shared their presentations.

On behalf of CIGRE Turkey, Turkey’s National Energy Plan Assoc. Dr. Tuğçe Demirdelen shared with the participants. Problems and solutions in the European electricity system were discussed at the workshop held in La Sapienza, one of Italy’s well-established universities. The workshop held on 26 and 27 January was hosted by the Italian National Committee of CIGRE.

During the workshop, where presentations were made on twenty different topics, ideas were exchanged in many areas from cyber security to climate change, from transmission system problems of countries to solutions to operational problems.
